Welcome to the website of the Eneleon Labradors.
My name is Noelene Dodd and I live in the lovely market town of Garstang near Preston. When I was growing up my mother had an Apricot toy poodle that was always full of character. When my own children were growing up we mostly had a Jack Russell or two. With six children at home a large dog was out of the question.
In 1995 the lovely chocolate Labrador Cadbury came into my life and started my love of the Labrador breed. Cadbury had brains as well as beauty. She shone at obedience gaining her Bronze, Silver and Gold with little effort. Her hips and eyes were good and she gave me three wonderful litters and taught ‘me’ a lot!
My Eneleon affix was granted in 1999. If anyone has not fathomed it out yet it is my name spelt backwards! Whilst looking to purchase a yellow bitch I bought a black dog who at his first show was 3rd in minor puppy and that was me hooked. I then bought in a yellow bitch, Lyndbarr Cassiopaea who herself produced Eneleoen Hollyhock (3 RCCs) and Eneleon Honesty who both won well. I then bought a black bitch Pipeaway Bellissima from Oakhouse who produced for me my Eneleon Oak JW and Eneleon Elderberry who has proved a valuable brood bitch for Linda Thompson (Meadowline).
Due to a twist of fate the beautiful Trendlewood Ruby Tuesday (Ruby) came into my life. Ruby won well at all levels and in her first litter to Ramsayville Raith produced my own Eneleon Quail and Eneleon Pheasant at Meadowline. The littermate to Eneleon Elderberry produced the lovely Meadowline Midway Lady JW ShCM. Ruby’s second litter to Cricklecreek Cruising Along has, to coin a phrase, put me on the map. It was a fabulous litter. I had been trying to produce a yellow dog of quality for as long as I can remember. I kept a very special dog Eneleon Tigers Eye (Thomas) who now lives in Australia and is a Champion. I sold a local lady his litter sisters so thought I would go and have a look at them. They were also lovely so asked the lady if I could show them and she agreed. Amber at her first show was BPIS and went on to win 6 CC’s and 6 RCC’s. I am very proud to have bred her. She is a wonderful Labrador. I have now had my third generation of Eneleon’s born and all the dogs I have now, all go back to my wonderful Ruby.
I hope you enjoy looking at my lovely dogs and would love to hear any comments on my guestbook.
I am always happy to hear from people who want to know more about my dogs or labradors in general. Please use the contact form and I will always reply to any enquiries.
Thank you for visiting.
