Sadly Smokey had to be put to sleep to save him any more suffering. His human mum writes this tribute to him:
Our Lives now seem so empty, Now you are not around,
We miss your snoring and grunting, and all your funny sounds,
I just can't imagine walking without you by my side,and miss you looking out of the car window when we took you for a ride,
The way you used to look at us,your eyes would say so much, and when you gave us your big paw, you still had a gentle touch,
You were a big big softie,and wouldn't hurt a fly.You touched the hearts of many, even passers by.
We will never forget you Smokey, you were such a lovely boy, you gave us so much pleasure happiness and joy. xxxxxxxx

A lovely black dog, Smokey is out of my own Eneleon Emerald who is my lovely Ambers sister. He is a very gentle dog with a sweet nature.
Sadly Smokey is no longer offered at stud since he failed his eye test with H.C. He has now retired to live with Bob and Sue in Morecambe.
